Harrods smoked salmon deal for John Ross Jr (Aberdeen)

Published Modified

The partnership between the Knightsbridge retailer and the prestigious smokehouse, which traditionally cold-smokes salmon in brick kilns dating back to 1857, will see nine luxury John Ross Jr smoked salmon products available in the store's Food Halls from this month.

Each of the premium products has been smoked over oak and beech chippings for up to 24 hours using a time-honoured method, which wins awards year after year.

The range includes the recently launched Balmoral Fillet. Also included is salmon smoked in Balvenie whisky and an exceptional smoked salmon paté.

Vicky Leigh, John Ross Jr’s sales director, said: "Harrods' decision to sell John Ross Jr smoked salmon is testament to the quality of our product and recognition of our authentic approach to producing world-class food.

"Harrods is undoubtedly one of the most celebrated stores and we are delighted to be associated with such a prestigious brand."
