Chilean exports to the USA increased 23% in January

According to the trade data published by the Fisheries Statistics Division of the NOAA's National Marine Fisheries Service, Norway was in third place with sales of US$ 21.8 million and 1,981 tonnes. Those numbers represent 77.4 and 67.7 percent increases in value and volume, respectively. Meanwhile, the United Kingdom was in fourth place, with returns of US$ 14.6 million and 1,517 tonnes. These figures represent a 188.8 and 134.5 percent increases in value and volume, compared to the first month of 2013. The USA imports of all salmon and trout products in January this year totalized 27,735 tonnes worth US$ 266.3 million.
