Ireland takes a stand with national pavilion at Aquaculture UK

Published

Ireland is to host its own pavilion for the first time at Aquaculture UK in June, bringing a broad range of suppliers to a bigger audience.

Sponsored by the Irish seafood board BIM (Bord Iascaigh Mhara), leading aquatech and marine technology companies will showcase practical solutions spanning marine infrastructure, water quality monitoring, sea lice and fish health technologies, vessels, nets, containment systems, and environmental innovation.

Ireland’s aquatech sector is built on deep experience in marine industries, combining traditional engineering expertise with modern technology to support sustainable, efficient aquaculture operations, said BIM in a press release.

Collaborative network

Among the 13 exhibitors at the pavilion are SNG (Swan Net Gundry), suppliers of technical nets, ropes, and mooring systems for aquaculture operations; Mooney Boats, specialist builders of workboats and service vessels for aquaculture and marine industries; the Killybegs Marine Cluster, a collaborative network of marine engineering, fabrication, and maritime services companies supporting the blue economy; and KER Group, marine engineering specialists providing chilling, vacuum pumping, ice dosing, and onboard systems.

Also on the stand will be Cunningham Covers, which provides customised tarpaulins and containment solutions for sea lice management, RAS, and fish health treatments.

Impact 9 will highlight its advanced floating and offshore aquaculture structures; and SeaQuest Systems will present its high‑capacity fish pumps and handling systems used widely in aquaculture and well boat operations.

Irish Hour

Aquaculture UK takes place at Glasgow’s Scottish Event Campus (SEC) from Tuesday, June 16, to Wednesday June 17.

On the Tuesday, from 4-5pm, the Irish Pavilion, located on stand C91-f, will hold an informal Irish Hour to connect exhibitors with the wider aquaculture community.

“Join us for a drop‑in session with Guinness and salmon, where you can meet the exhibitors and catch up with industry peers,” said BIM.

“The Irish Pavilion is designed as an open, welcoming space for discussion and collaboration throughout the event. Visitors are encouraged to stop by, meet the exhibitors, and explore how Irish aquatech solutions can support their farming and operational challenges.”
