Lerøy Q3 harvest up by 24%

Lerøy Seafood Group, co-owner of Scottish Sea Farms, harvested 8,800 tonnes more salmon and trout in Norway in the third quarter of this year – an extra 24% compared to Q3 last year.

In total, Lerøy harvested 46,000 tonnes of salmon and trout in Q3 2019, distributed among its three Norwegian regions.

In Lerøy Aurora, 9,500 tonnes (Q3 2018: 6,600t) were harvested. Lerøy Mid produced 19,300 tonnes (19,600t), and Lerøy Sjøtroll had a harvest volume of 17,200 tonnes (11,100t).

Last year, Lerøy Seafood Group harvested 37,200 tonnes in the third quarter, which means that the company harvested 8,800 tonnes more salmon and trout in the third quarter of the year.
