Senior managerial vacancy

A senior role, it will involve reporting to the Managing Director and joining the Senior Management Team. Key responsibilities cover five main areas which include: Environment & Planning, Product Quality & Laboratory services, Quality systems & Food safety; Feed & nutrition; and the Feed Trial facility based in Lochailort.

The successful candidate will possess several years’ fish farming experience and have a sound understanding of fish biology and nutrition as well as a broad technical expertise in the aforementioned areas. A working knowledge of industry regulatory affairs would be advantageous as would experience of dealing with UK retail customers and their technical support requirements.

Applicants must display a proven track record of leading and managing small teams combined with strong interpersonal, communication, organisational and planning skills. The ability to problem solve, motivate and achieve results through the success of others are some of the other attributes required for this post.

Candidates must also possess excellent computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Word. A current full driving licence is essential for the role.
