Mainstream leads the Chilean exports up to August
According to data published by the Export Promotion Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (ProChile), the remaining companies in a top ten ranking of exporters are Marine Harvest Chile (US$ 131.14 million), Pesquera Los Fiordos (US$ 104.43 million), Blumar (US$ 104.21 million), Salmones Antártica (US$ 100.85 million), Trusal (US$ 87.58 million), Invertec Pequera Mar de Chiloé (US$ 85.63 million) and Australis Mar with US$ 79.05 million.
Other relevant results were obtained by Salmones Camanchaca (US$ 72.44 million), Acuinova (US$ 69.08 million), Ventisqueros (US$ 63.58 million), Granja Marina Tornagaleones (US$ 60.48 million), Salmones Pacific Star (US$ 49.71 million), Salmones de Chile (US$ 46.01 million), Salmones Aysén (US$ 37.94 million), Caleta Bay (US$ 33.38 million), Salmones Cupquelán (US$ 33.96 million), Salmones FrioSur (US$ 26.48 million) and Salmones Humboldt, which exported US$ 19.15 million in the first eight months of this year.
The results of Mainstream Chile were obtained after a combination of the exported figures of Mainstream Chile and CM Chiloé, companies controlled by the same owner, similar to what happens with the results of Empresas AquaChile (AquaChile, Salmones Chiloé and Aguas Claras) and Marine Harvest Chile, which were obtained after adding the results of Marine Harvest Chile and Delifish.
