Fusion Marine Chile files for bankruptcy

Today both well-known salmon cage manufacturers, Wavemaster (AKVA Group) Fusion Marine Chile S.A. (Fusion Marine – Fusion Group) and appeared in the news. The former announced 40 job cuts as a cost reduction measure in light of the ISA crisis according to Mundoacuícola, and the latter announced bankruptcy in the Diario Oficial. Although no press communication was made on behalf of the Fusion Marine Chile S.A., in review of information published on behalf of Aguila, Ulloa & Cía. (http://jurischile.com/), since 2006 the company has gone through a series of changes in management and business association, of which have not proven efficient for the company.
