AQUA NOR FORUM 2007 is taking place in Trondheim, Norway, on August 15 and 16, 2007 (during the AQUA NOR 2007 exhibition) is now available.   Under the theme, WELFARE-DRIVEN TECHNOLOGY - How our shared understanding of aquatic animals needs will shape their future homes", the AQUA NOR FORUM 2007 will address the issue of welfare as a driver for technological development in aquaculture. The forum is divided into three sessions, which look at different housing situations (structures used for the production of aquatic animals) and the interaction between different stakeholders in designing production systems. The three sessions end with a press conference that summarises discussions and recommends future action.   This promising workshop is organised by European Aquaculture Society (EAS) in cooperation with the Nor Fishing Foundation and SINTEF. It will provide a forum for science, industry, consumers and policy makers to review developments in the aquaculture sector.   Full preliminary programme is available at: < http://www.easonline.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=25&Itemid=25>http://www.easonline.org/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=25&Itemid=25
