Major Chilean salmon company reached an agreement with its banks

"We are pleased to inform that today has been signed the agreement to refinance the company's debt, with the presence of its associates Víctor Hugo Puchi and Humberto Fischer; and the banks BCI, BBVA, Chile, Santander, Estado, Corpbanca, Rabobank, Itaú y Bice", according to the press release sent by the banks .

"This agreement represents an important step in the solution of the problems of the salmon industry and its future development".

Finally, the banks added that "this agreement has been possible because of the efforts of each part for reaching alternative and creative solutions to confront the complexities that a negotiation of this nature presents".

The details of the agreement have not been revealed yet. AquaChile owes US$ 380 million to the banking.
