Norway and UK company Aquaservice AS, which supplies HDPE products to the aquaculture sector, has achieved the ISO 9001:2015 international standard for quality management, it has announced.

“The process has been long and instructive. It has been important for us to stress test, adapt, and adjust our systems and routines throughout this process, with solid results,” said Kristian Dyrhaug at Aquaservice.

Asgeir Skogstad: Certification covers essential focus areas.

Aquaservice has its head office in Western Norway and a sales office in Chinnor, Oxfordshire, England.

Filters to boats

Its products for the aquaculture industry range from automatic self-cleaning filters and UV systems to utility/infrastructure barges and HDPE-boats (HardRIB).

All engineering and production is carried out at its factory in Straumgjerde in the municipality of Sykkylven, More og Romsdal county, in the heart of Norway's salmon farming country.

“The main points of ISO 9001:2015 certification are important in our development as an international, forward-looking company with solid local roots," said chief executive Asgeir Skogstad.

"Focus areas such as continuous improvement, management anchoring, risk and opportunity-based thinking, and a process-oriented approach are absolutely essential for us – and for our customers and partners.”
