Grieg Seafood completes sale of Canadian and north Norway sites
The fish farming operations now belong to Japanese-owned Cermaq.
Grieg Seafood ASA has confirmed that the sale of the company's operations in Finnmark (northern Norway) and on the east and west coasts of Canada has now been completed. The agreement was first announced through a stock exchange announcement on July 17, 2025, and the transaction was completed on December 29.
The sale is being made at an agreed enterprise value of NOK 10.2 billion, based on a cash and debt-free structure and assuming normalised working capital. The buyer in the transaction is Cermaq Group AS.
Grieg Seafood further stated that the dividend guidance presented in connection with its third quarter presentation remains in effect. The company will return with more information on the schedule and details of the dividend distribution in early 2026.
