Production for Lerøy Aurora in the start of 2021 was impacted by more winter ulcers than normal.

Lerøy increases Q1 harvest by 2,800 tonnes

Scottish Sea Farms co-owner Lerøy harvested 42,100 gutted weight tonnes of salmon and trout in its three Norwegian regions in the first quarter of this year, 2,800 gwt more than in Q1 2020.

Lerøy said that production for Lerøy Aurora in the start of 2021 was impacted by more winter ulcers than normal. This has had a negative impact on price achievement and costs in the first quarter of 2021.

Harvest volume from Scottish Sea Farms is not included in harvest figures from Lerøy or SSF co-owner SalMar.
