Inverness-based aquaculture supplier Gael Force Group has hired former Badinotti sales executive Alessandro Ciattaglia as sales manager for Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa (EMENA).

“Joining a company with such a strong reputation in providing cage-based aquaculture equipment feels like the perfect next step,” Ciattaglia said in a post on LinkedIn.

“I’m proud to become part of a team that’s innovating across R&D, engineering, and turnkey services - from HDPE pens (SeaQurePen, Triton, Oceanflex, Aquaflex) to hybrid feed barges built in the in-house shipyard.”

Ciattaglia said he looked forward to accelerating Gael Force’s presence across the EMENA region.

Quality solutions

“My goal is to ensure our clients can fully benefit from the company’s quality solutions, be it steel or concrete feed barges, net and pen systems, mooring technology, or sustainable R&D projects like SeaQureFarm and SeaQureWell.

“Thank you to everyone who supported me along the way, I’m excited to work alongside an outstanding team and contribute to Gael Force’s continued growth and innovation across the EMENA region.”

Ciattaglia, a fish biologist with over 32 years of experience in aquaculture, has been division manager of Badinotti Marine Europe for nearly six years, in his second spell with the Italian company. He was Europe, Middle East, and Africa sales and marketing manager for Badinotti from January 2009 to September 2019.
