Lerøy's Q3 harvest dipped by 7.5% this year
Lerøy Seafood Group, one of the world’s top five salmonid farmers, harvested 54,680 gutted weight tonnes of Atlantic salmon and trout in Norway in the third quarter of this year, a drop of 4,420 gwt (7.5%) compared to the 59,100 gwt harvested in Q3 2025.
Harvested volume by region for Q3 2026 (Q3 2025) was:
Lerøy Aurora (northern Norway): 19,000 gwt (20,100 gwt)
Lerøy Midt (central Norway): 18,800 gwt (21,400 gwt)
Lerøy Sjøtroll (southern Norway): 16,900 gwt, of which 7,600 gwt were trout (17,600 gwt, of which 10,400 gwt trout)
The volume does not include fish harvested by Scottish Sea Farms, which Lerøy owns 50-50 with SalMar.
