Lerøy harvested slightly less in 2019 than the year before.

Lerøy harvested 158,000 tonnes in 2019

Norwegian salmon farmer Lerøy harvested 42,800 tonnes in the last quarter of 2019, it said in a market update today.

Its total harvest for the year was 158,100 tonnes, a slight drop compared to 2018.

The harvest volumes for Q4 were distributed as follows:

  • Lerøy’s activities in central Norway: 14,500 tonnes
  • Lerøy Aurora (northern Norway): 13,400 tonnes 
  • Lerøy Sjøtroll (southern Norway): 14,900 tonnes

The figures do not include contributions from associate company Scottish Sea Farms, which Lerøy co-owns with fellow Norwegian salmon farmer SalMar.
