Time running out to enter 2023 Aquaculture Awards

The organiser of the annual Aquaculture Awards 2023 is reminding those in the sector that they have just two days left to enter.

There are 13 categories in this year’s awards, which are run by Aquaculture UK trade show owner Diversified Communications UK.

The categories are Rising Star, Collaboration, Innovation, Sustainability, Community Initiative, Shellfish Farmer of the Year, Finfish Farmer of the Year, Animal Welfare, Aquaculture Supplier of the Year, Best New Start Up, Best Aquaculture Company, Unsung Hero, and Outstanding Contribution.

There is also a Judges’ Special Recognition award selected by the judging panel from the awards entries and made to recognise the impressive commitment and responsible approach to aquaculture of an individual, project, or business.

Awards will be presented at a dinner at the Macdonald Drumossie Hotel, Inverness, on June 15, which will be hosted by comedian Jo Caulfield.

The awards are open to those within and outside the UK, and entry can be made here. Entries close on Friday.
