June delivered

The shipyard Moen Marine AS delivered the work vessel June recently to the shipping company Vikahavet AS. Moen Marine’s NabCat vessels are designed specifically to provide the best possible working conditions in rough waters along the coast. The catamaran is built in aluminum according to DNV Nordic boating standards and ensures safe working. June comes with welded ribs for increased strength and solidity, a fully insulated engine for better working conditions and arrangements on deck for easy cleaning and disinfection. Furthermore this type of boat is equipped with twin disc gearbox, two capstans of three and five tons, Sleipner bow thruster, radio controlled Palfinger crane, 17.5 kW unit and alarm systems for water intrusion and fire. NabCat 1350 comes with a six-man liferaft as standard. Moen Marin has a further eight NABCAT 1350 and seven NABCAT 1499 vessels in production. Most of the boats are contracted to Norwegian salmon farming companies and service companies. The next available delivery is an 13.5m catamaran in March 2015.
