Cooke set to expand in Chile
Salmones Cupquelán, the Chilean subsidiary of Cooke Aquaculture, is set to increase its production capacity by 10,000 tonnes.
The company’s growth is to be achieved by relocation of two farms, Ballena 4’ and ‘Mentas 1’, in the region of Aysén, in a project worth US$ 11 million. An application for the site ‘Mentirosa 2’ was, however, declined.
