Ewos invests in new feed carriers

As the first feed supplier Ewos invented the Dynamic positioning (DP) system of feed deliverences already in 2004. By this system they were able to deliver feed to farm sites without mooring. This prevented the cages and barges from potential risk of damages and thereby the risk of escaping.

- To continue our effort to satisfy our customers needs we have decided to build two new vessels, says Atle Kvist, CEO in Ewos AS.

All together Ewos operates 8 feed carriers along the Norwegian coastline. The new vessels will be deliveres in 2014 and powered by LNG.
