Salmon prices take a dip
The spot price for Norwegian salmon dropped last week, figures from Norwegian data provider Akvafakta show.
The price last week (week 28) was NOK 53.59 / kg, down NOK 4.48 from the week before.
The price is NOK 8.02 lower than the same week last year.
Norway exported 22,513 tonnes (round weight) of salmon in week 27. This is 2.3% more than the same week in 2019.
So far, 589,478 tonnes of salmon have been exported in 2020, 0.7% less than the corresponding period last year.
