Cod farmer had strong growth – but still large losses

Norcod increased its revenue by 53% in 2024, but still ended the year with a deficit

Cod farmer Norcod increased both production volume and revenue sharply in 2024, but the company continued to deliver significant losses, reports Fish Farming Expert's Norwegian sister site, Kyst.no.

According to the published accounts, Norcod had sales of NOK 382 million in 2024, up 53% from the NOK 249m in turnover made the previous year. 

Norcod highlights both market and operational improvements as important drivers for growth.
