Iain Sutherland, senior development manager at Highlands and Islands Enterprise, said: "We’re delighted to be here at long last with the Scottish Pavilion. It was a lot of hard work to get this organised in a short space of time but we have achieved a great result with the whole set-up.

Full-on

“Yesterday (Tuesday) was pretty steady but today was full-on. We want to be back here in two years’ time, hopefully with a bigger pavilion and maybe a brand new facility.”

Scottish Salmon Producers’ Organisation chief executive Scott Landsburgh, Scottish Aquaculture Innovation Centre CEO Heather Jones and Gael Force Group managing director Stewart Graham were among those being engaged by visitors during the reception.

The Pavilion is hosting ten companies, while other Scottish firms have their own stands at the exhibition, the world's biggest aquaculture trade show.
