Faroese salmon farmer Bakkafrost increased its shareholding in SSC from 80.77% to 95.6% as a result of the offer, which ended on Monday, and was due to settle its bill for the shares this Friday.

In a market announcement today, Bakkafrost said it has delayed settlement until next Tuesday, December 17, in order to include late acceptances of the mandatory offer in the settlement.

The postponement also allows it to coordinate the funding of the settlement with the settlement of the recently concluded subsequent offering of new shares by Bakkafrost.
