Strong interest for the North Atlantic Seafood Conference

NASF is experiencing very strong interest from seafood executives. Delegate registrations are well above last year's level. So far close to 500 delegates from 42 nations have registered to attend.

The world`s largest salmon company, Marine Harvest (MH) is preparing for the event says Anne Øen, MH`s communication manager in a comment to the organizers: “We at Marine Harvest will in combination with this event host a large management meeting to save travel cost and take the opportunity to network amongst other players in the industry. Some 20 MH executives will attend the 8th NASF conference”.

Marine Harvest CEO Alf Helge Aarskog (photo) is a key note speaker at several NASF seminars next week, including the salmon seminar March 6th and the MSC sustainability and Pareto finance seminar March 7th. He says:“ Marine Harvest is looking forward to NASF moving from Oslo to Bergen. This is an important conference for all players in the seafood industry, and NASF will contribute to further strengthen Bergen`s position as the seafood capital”.
