New production strategy in Chile

The new law aims to improve the sanitary regulation and setting and make a new legal framework for the process of transforming the salmon farming industry. The initiative is ready to be study by the Senate.

"This measure is the first step to make up the new Chilean salmon farming, involving a big challenge that we are ready to take on", said César Barros, the Chilean Salmon Farming Association (SalmonChile)'s president. He highlights on the good discussion generated around this project, making all the sectors to participate on it.

Now, the law modification is ready to be discussed and approved or rejected by the Senate.
