Little book can solve big problems
Marketing leader in Steen-Hansen, Rolf Mørk-Knudsen, told salmonexpert.cl that they will hand out 6,000 copies of the booklet during the exhibition.
The booklet has already been released in Norwegian and English.
"We can safely conclude that this project has been a huge success. The reception has been exceptional both in Norway and Scotland. Immediate feedback here at the show suggests the same is the case here," he says.
According to Mørk-Knudsen, the main aim of the Little Book on Fouling is to impart knowledge about the organisms that grow on the nets, and how to prevent and remove them. "So this is not an advertising brochure for our products," he said.
The Spanish version takes into account the differences in conditions in Chile compared to those experiended in Norway and Scotland.
"Some differences exist and these are taken into account in the Spanish edition," he says.
