Mowi had a record-high harvest in Q3 

The world's biggest Atlantic salmon farmer produced 166,000 gutted weight tonnes but operating profit fell by 35%

Global salmon farmer Mowi harvested a record-high volume of 166,000 gutted weight tonnes in the third quarter of this year, the company said in a trading update today.

The volume is 5,000 gwt higher than in the same period last year, and 6,000 gwt above guidance.

The largest volume was in Norway, where Mowi harvested 99,500 gwt, and the biggest operating profit was made in Scotland, where the company harvested 17,500 gwt and made operational EBIT of €1.55 (£1.35) per kilo. Mowi Canada and the company's Icelandic subsidiary, Arctic Fish, recorded financial losses.

Operational EBIT for the group was approximately €112 million in Q3 2025, down by 35% from €173m in the same period last year. Blended farming cost was €5.42 per kg in the quarter, down from €5.72 in Q3 2024 and stable from Q2 as guided.

Operational EBIT in Consumer Products was €66 million (Q3 2024: €43.5m). Operational EBITDA in Feed in Q3 2025 was €26m (€21.5m).
