Investors meet sustainable seafood creators at Fish 2.0

 Fish 2.0 is a global community of innovators, investors and sustainable seafood experts that come together to create projects and solutions that benefits the aquaculture industry and the fisheries. This year events will be taking place in Australia and the U.S.

Start ups and business owners are encouraged to attend as they can meet potential investors, partners and experts who can help accelerate growth in their businesses. Investors and experts will learn about new trends and technologies while having the first opportunity to invest.

Attendees can also dive into the online Readiness Assessment. Investors will provide feedback and scores. If the business meets the standard score they become Fish 2.0 Qualified. This allows them to enter the Fish 2.0 Connect online hub where they can identify investors and partners they want to meet and get connected with the ones who want to meet them.

Fish 2.0 has scheduled three global events:

USA South Atlantic Seafood Innovation Workshop and Pitch Event is free of charge and will take place April 23–24 at the University of North Carolina in Wilmington. USA.

South Atlantic fishing and aquaculture industry professionals can attend a session on how to create the perfect pitch. Business owners will also get the chance to meet with potential partners. Investors and experts can meet at the Pitch and Networking session where they can learn about emerging trends and new technologies. All guests will also have access to the university's state of the art shellfish hatchery.

West Coast Aquaculture Workshop, Pitch and Networking Event is a free event that will take place April 30–May 1 at the University of Washington and World Trade Center in Seattle, Washington. USA.

Business professionals can attend a customized workshop for the West Coast, Alaska and Hawaii. Attendees will  learn how to create a professional pitch. This will also be an opportunity to make some new business partnerships. Investors and experts are invited to a Pitch and Networking session where they can learn more about the newest trends.

Regional Innovators Forum: Australia & Pacific Islands is taking place on April 3 at the The Edge Auditorium, State Library of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia.

This is the first Regional Innovators Forum. The forum will have 25 investment ready businesses that will pitch on stage. Regional investment and industry leaders will share information on new innovations and how to get the best seafood value.

Businesses can make connections with investors and global partners who are actively interested in seafood at Fish 2.0.  They can find out how to make environmental and social impact as a compelling element of their business strategy by attending.
