New suspect site of ISA virus in Chile
According to Sernapesca, the site ‘Bahía Perales’ is suspect of a virulent strain (site with results from laboratory positive for ISA virus but without clinical disease manifestation) and belongs to the salmon producing company Acuimag.
Besides, Sernapesca describes eight suspect sites of HPR0 (avirulent strain) in the 11th Region, pertaining to the salmon producing companies Cupquelán, Australis Mar and Mainstream.
Likewise, the report details that there are 3 total sites under sanitary fallow (which were previously outbreaks or suspect sites but currently are without fish); and no site in category of risk (without presence or clinical disease manifestation but located within an infected area).
