More outboard motors running on LPG
This project consist of an auto-install system which transforms outboard marine motors to start running on liquid petroleum gas instead of gasoline. The models intended to be transformed are those Yamaha and Honda motors with 50, 60 and 75 HP.
Gonzalo Benítez, general manager of the company commented that "this project has great commercial projections given that there are farming companies abroad interested in this technology, as well as, firms eager to produce engines intended for alternative energy sources".
This innovative project counts with financing from the Chilean Economic Development Agency (Corfo) by using the Business Innovation document. In this respect, Benitez said that "that support from Corfo allowed us to develop this project faster than if we would have done it just by ourselves".
