Marine Harvest Chile production to be doubled this year

Christian Pérez According to a report recently published by the company, Marine Harvest Chile would harvest close to 60 000 tonnes of salmonids this year compared to about 28 000 tonnes in 2013. With 28 000 tonnes of salmonids last year, the Chilean subsidiary of Marine Harvest was the fourth largest producing unit of the company, after Norway, Scotland and Canada. Finally, if the Chilean branch accomplishes its expected 60 000 tonnes this year, it will become the second largest producing unit of the company, just after Marine Harvest Norway.
