Romuld, 50, has extensive experience from a number of management positions within seafood, the oil industry, consulting and the auditing industry, both in Norwegian and international companies, SalMar said in a stock exchange announcement.

In addition, she has considerable experience as a board member and head of the audit committee in listed companies. Romuld is a state-authorised public accountant (NHH).

Romuld has worked with seafood in various roles: CFO of what was once Pan Fish and became Marine Harvest (now Mowi), board member and member of the audit committee in Faroese salmon farmer Bakkafrost and board member and chairman of the audit committee for former Aker Seafoods / Havfisk.

“I am very pleased to get Trine on the team. Her experience from the aquaculture industry combined with her broad experience from growing companies are qualities that fit very well with our ambitions,” said SalMar chief executive Olav-Andreas Ervik.
