Meanwhile, Marine Harvest totalized 67 000 tonnes in Norway, 13 000 tonnes in Scotland, 9 000 tonnes in Canada and 5 000 tonnes in other countries. These harvest volumes are provided in head-on gutted (HG) equivalents.

According to the company, the operational EBIT for the Group was approximately NOK 390 million in Q4 2011 (US$ 64.96 million) which represent a 62% decrease compared to the NOK 1,033 million obtained by Marine Harvest in Q4 2010 (US$ 172.05 million). The operational EBIT for Q4 2011 was positively impacted by approximately NOK 35 million (US$ 5.83 million) as a consequence of a realized gain from sale of assets in the Farming Norway division.

Net interest bearing debt per 31 December 2011 was approximately NOK 6,500 million (US$ 1,082.59 million).

Operational EBIT per kg for Farming Norway was NOK 4.1 (US$ 0.68) per kg (including contribution from Sales and Marketing). The Operational EBIT of NOK 4.1 per kg was positively impacted by approximately NOK 0.5 per kg as a consequence of a realized gain from sale of assets.

Marine Harvest will release its Q4 2011 results on 8 February at 0700 CET.
