Nordic Aqua Partners teams up with AKVA group ASA

AKVA group ASA will be the technology supplier for Nordic Aqua Partners new Atlantic salmon RAS project.

Nordic Aqua Partners (NAP) full grow out project is located in China. The project has been appropriately named “The Project”. The targeted harvest volume is 8000 tonnes in 2026.

“The realization of The Project and AKVA’s delivery is dependent upon certain conditions to the project’s equity financing which is scheduled to be concluded in January 2020,” said a news release.

Value

The value of AKVA’s delivery is estimated to be NOK 500 million($55 million USD) from 2020 to mid 2023. Also, AKVA will supply 3.1 million euros in equity.

“The equity participation is considered by AKVA to increase its opportunity for a close follow-up on all technical, operational and biological performance measures to ensure successful project delivery.”

Nordic Aqua Partners is a provider of aquaculture services. The company's service’s include harvesting land-based Atlantic salmon. The company was found in Demark in 2016.

AKVA group ASA is a Norwegian manufacturing company of appliances for aquaculture. They produce steel/plastic cages and feeding software. Based in Bryne, Norway it has operations in eight countries.
