Saints set for double
The award will be presented at the organisation’s annual awards ceremony, which will be held in Lisbon on 1 June. The ceremony is taking place in the magnificently restored 18th century historic Pátio da Galé and will be followed by a welcome cocktail, an exhibition of the 2015 awarded products and the Gala Dinner. Meanwhile the company, which is based in Annan, has also made the 37-strong shortlist for the Seafood Prix d’Elite at the Seafood Global exhibition later this month for its Scottish Smoked Salmon Trio. Founder, Brendan James Maher said: “Before receiving our most recent 2015 Monde Selection Gold Medal St James Smokehouse were already producers of the world’s most award-winning smoked salmon. That being said, it is always a great honour to receive acknowledgement that people appreciate the artisanal, hand-crafted products that we are producing and distributing throughout the world”.
