The company hopes to increase its involvement with the UK salmon segment as well as seeking partners and distributors for this region. It is best known in the aquaculture industry for producing MacroGard, a purified beta-glucan that acts according to the immune status of each animal, contributing to increased disease resistance and to enhance vaccine responses.

Biorigin will be represented by its technical and sales teams at stand 30 during the Edinburgh event and will also present other natural feed supplements, such as ActiveMOS, a prebiotic additive that modulates the intestinal microbiota, promoting better nutrient absorption and intestinal health; HiCell, a highly digestible protein source, ideal for starter and growing stages; Selemax, an organic selenium source; and Protemyc, mycotoxin adsorbent.
