“I will engage more in the Chilean situation to a greater extent, and be there in person,” he told kyst.no.

The current vice president of Biomar North Sea is keen of create stronger ties between the feed producer’s two largest markets and notes that he primarily aims to learn more about the operations over there, not to make wholesale changes.

“I want to focus on companies in Chile, and get a better understanding of the situation the country is in. Furthermore, I will also see if there is something we as a total company can learn from each other and I want to spend time on integrating the information and knowledge we already have,” he told kyst.no.

Getting more knowledge about the market in Chile and the situation requires Røsstad to travel more frequently to Chile than in the past.

“I'll go down and be present more in the industry there, where I also want physical visits to companies and establish meetings among other things. I look forward to traveling more in Chile, and get a stronger connection with operations there,” he said to kyst.no.
