“Cooke is hiring in every Atlantic province right now. We have lots of full-time positions available with good pay, bonuses, health benefits, a retirement savings plan and a real opportunity to grow,” said Cooke press spokesman Joel Richardson.

“We believe our employees are the most valuable part of our organisation. For those looking for flexibility, we are also offering contract term positions and shift options to suit individuals’ needs.”

Refer a Friend

Cooke is offering a Refer a Friend rewards program for current employees and new recruits at its processing plants in Blacks Harbour and St George, both in New Brunswick.

People who know someone who works with Cooke should ask them about the Refer a Friend program. When employees Refer a Friend to work with Cooke’s processing team, they can each earn cash bonuses.

Family-owned Cooke employs 2,000 people in Atlantic Canada and 10,000 globally across seafood operations in 10 different countries.

It recently created more than 40 jobs in farming and processing in Shetland and Orkney, in Scotland, increasing its workforce by around 10%.
