The total seafood export from Norway in January 2012 totalled at 4,2 billion NOK, an increase of 34 million NOK compared to January 2011. The total export value of farmed salmon was 1,9 billion NOK i January, a decrease by 423 million NOK compared to January 2011.

The major buyers of Norwegian salmon are France, Russia and Poland.
