Meanwhile export volumes have been considerably higher in the last few weeks than in the equivalent period last year. According to the latest figures from Akvafakta, 23,821 tonnes of salmon were exported in week 19, up by 9.8% compared to the same week in 2014, while week 18’s figures were 21,937 – 9.7% higher than last year.
