Vaccine sales passed 300 million doses in July

There was a high activity level of S0 vaccination in July month including a total order of 54.5 million doses compared to 30 million doses in July 2010. As expected the vaccination started earlier this year compared to 2010 where we saw the top month of S0 vaccination in August with its 57 million salmon vaccine doses. In August there will be a continued vaccination of the S0s’, while we in September also will find the start of the S1 vaccination for 2012. It is worth noticing that 23.5 million PD vaccine doses were sold in July compared to 15.3 million doses in the same month last year. Accumulated twelve months sales are now at 107 million doses. In Norway the vaccination against ISA is limited to the restricted ISA- zone. However 2.1 million doses were ordered in July and the last twelve months sales are now at 7.2 million vaccine doses.
