Torben Petersen resign as CEO in Marine Harvest

Upon expiry of his employment contract, Torben Petersen (62) (Photo), has decided to resign as CEO of Marine Harvest`s business unit Chile/US. Petersen has managed the integration of Marine Harvest`s operations in Chile and the US since 2007. Mr. Alvaro Jimenez Seminario, current member of the Chile/US management team as Director of Value Added Smoked Operations, will resume the position as Acting CEO of Chile/US with immediate effect. Mr. Seminerio has a background as Manager of Delifish and has a degree in Civil Engineering. Marine Harvest has initiated a search process in order to recruit a new permanent CEO of the business unit, reports the company.
