Thais say "aye" to Scots salmon

At the Bangkok event international chefs taking part in the WorldChefs Asian Semi Final attempted to impress a panel of judges with their creative culinary skills, with Scottish seafood a key ingredient. 

Su Cox, Sales and Communications Director of The Scottish Salmon Company, and a member of the Scottish Seafood Collaborative Group, took part in the WorldChefs tasting.

She told Fish Farming Expert: "With 35,000 trade visitors, Thaifex presents another fantastic opportunity to tell the story of quality Scottish salmon and seafood to the Asian market where quality seafood is becoming increasingly important."

Scotland’s sponsorship of WorldChefs helps to raise the profile and improve understanding of the superior taste of Scottish salmon to an audience of premium influencers and buyers in the region as part of a sustained campaign to promote Scottish salmon in new and developing markets.
