Steady around 40 NOK/kg
Figures from FHL shows that the prices on fresh Atlantic salmon has been steady for some time now. The average level of the price is far above the level in the same period last year. So far in 2011, the average price has not been below 35 NOK/kg.
According to the figures, the total exported volume of farmed Atlantic salmon from Norway by week no.9 this year is 143 040 tons, down by 1,1% compared to the same periode in 2010.
According to fish feed statistics, these figures also shows a downward trend. By week no.8, the sales of fish feed produced in Norway decreased by 2% in 2011, compared to the same period in 2010.
