
Smoked salmon 'worth thousands' stolen in Buckie
Smoked salmon worth thousands of pounds has been stolen during a break-in to a business in Buckie.
The theft happened at Cluny Fish in the town's Low Street. Grampian Police said: "Premium quality smoked salmon was stolen which is valued at thousands of pounds."
All of the salmon were in clear vacuum packs, however some were in Shetland Smokehouse Gravadlax packaging, which is produced mainly for export and is not readily available locally.
