Slight price increase for Chilean Trim-D in the USA

Besides, the price of this product has increased 38.2 percent compared to the price observed in the same week of the previous year (US$ 3.93). However, is still below the higher price recorded in 2013 by the Chilean Trim-D salmon fillet C+F* in Miami: US$ 5.61 in the week 24. According to the weekly report published by SalmonEx, the caliber 10-12 head-on salmon in Brazil has shown a 0.1 percent increase so far this year, from US$ 6.68 per Kg in the first week of 2013 to US$ 6.69 per Kg in the week 5/2014. In this case, the higher price last year was US$ 7,56 and registered in the week 25. In the Japanese market, the Coho salmon and the trout did not change their prices. This week, the price of Coho marked 750 yen/kg, and the trout marked 910 yen/kg.
