Slight decrease in salmon share prices
Within the past 7 days, the share prices of these companies have experienced changes as follows: Empresas AquaChile (-7.3%) from US$ 0.77 to US$ 0.71; Australis Seafoods (+2.1%), from US$ 0.27 to US$ 0.28; Invertec Pesquera del Mar de Chiloé (+9.8%), from US$ 0.26 to US$ 0.28; and Salmones Multiexport (-0.7%), from US$ 0.27 to US$ 0.27. Given that Empresas AquaChile represents a 58.25% in this index, its variations have a stronger impact.
Meanwhile, the “Salmon Index” in the Santiago Stock Exchange (SSE) has decreased 3.9% in the past 7 days, from 4.132 points to 3.973 points. This index was created last August and shows the share price behavior of those salmon producing companies registered in the SSE.
