Salmon stock prices dropped 25 percent in single year

Empresas AquaChile has experienced a 2.89 percent increase from CLP$ 306.12 (US$ 0.639) at the beginning of 32nd week of 2011 to CLP$ 314.97 (US$ 0.658) last Monday.

Meanwhile, Multiexport Foods has been the company with the fewer losses in the local stock exchange in the past 12 months with a 5.06 percent decrease from CLP$ 117.03 (US$ 0.245) in August 8th in 2011 to $ 111.10 (US$ 0.232) in August 6th this year.

According to figures published in the Santiago Stock Exchange, Invertec Pesquera del Mar de Chiloé is in third place with a 17.57 percent decrease in their stock price, from CLP$ 137.1 (US$ 0,287) to CLP$ 113.00 (US$ 0,236).

Finally, Australis Seafoods is the company with the greater losses, experiencing a 42.65 percent decrease in the period, from CLP$ 136.01 (US$ 0.284) to CLP$ 78.00 (US$ 0.163).
