Salmon exports increased 46% up to November
Likewise, the results obtained by the local salmon industry in November 2011 (US$ 291 million) were 20.7% higher compared to those returns obtained in the same month of 2010 (US$ 241 million) according to the monthly report of external trade prepared by the Chilean General Directorate of International Economic Relations (Direcon).
Direcon also explains that all the Chilean exports totalized US$ 74,276 million up to November this year, representing an increase of 17.2 % compared to the same period of 2010, when the country exported products for US$ 63,396.
