The executive said that neither any law nor modification of the regulations will be able to solve "magically" these problems.

"As we have said it for years, the salmon farming activity in Chile isn't sustainable and the producers haven't proved to be ready to modify their practices and become into a responsible sector. They haven't recognized their own mistakes of the past", she said.
